In the spring of 2019, I started a research project with my advisor Dr. John Gallagher to learn more about who uses bullet journals, how they're used, and why they're used. (You can find general information about bullet journals and an introduction to some relevant literature in Bullet Journal Project [2018], which I created for a class with Dr. Paul Prior.)

During the first stage of this IRB-approved study, I collected survey responses (N=200) from bullet journal users. (You can see the recruitment flyer for this survey at right.) 

 

During my second stage in spring of 2020, I conducted interviews with some of these users while collecting images of their bullet journals.
